Dr. Nazanin Ghazisharif grew up needing a lot of dental work, which made her anxious to visit the dentist as a child. But that all changed when she was 14-years-old and preparing to receive braces. Her orthodontist referred her to a new dentist to have 3 teeth removed. This new dentist was kind and gentle, talked her through the whole process, and showed her that dental care didn’t need to be painful. This positive experience unconsciously shaped Dr. Naz’s career path and makes her strive to be the dentist that changes the way patients think about receiving dental care. Dr. Naz focuses on general and cosmetic dentistry, and prefers a “less is more” approach to cosmetic procedures. No one-size-fits-all makeover packages. Just conservative, customized treatment plans that consider the individual’s long-term oral health. She attended undergrad nearby at Tennessee State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry in 2010. She then graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2015 from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Naz was stationed at Fort Stewart in Georgia, which is where she met Dr. Packard. That’s where they decided they would team up and practice dentistry together.
