Dr. Terry Owen’s journey to Owen Dental Care started in May of 1978 when he graduated from the University of Nebraska School of Dentistry and then on to Chadron with wife Brenda and 1 year old son Zachary. They opened their dental practice at 101 East 6th (still here!) on August 1, 1978 with 1 dental chair, 1 dentist, one receptionist (Brenda) and one assistant.Terry says “It is with humility that I acknowledge and thank God for our patients from Chadron and the surrounding area and for the opportunities we have had to care for their dental needs and get to know them as friends as well as patients. Of course, I would be remiss not to acknowledge our fine dental staff without which we would not be able to provide the best of care for our patients, nor would we have near as much fun at work.”Owen Dental Care has been family owned and operated now since 1978 and with sons Jonathan and Zachary and daughter Lacey Merkel involved with our new state of the art facility, Owen Dental Care will be here for our patients for years to come.
