Dr. Michael grew up in Galesburg, Illinois. He is the seventh in a family of nine children. Six out of the nine, including Dr. Michael, attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated from the Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1987. He and his wife, Dr. Theresa, have been in practice together in Fairfield, Iowa for over thirty years. Dr. Michael is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, AD PAC, and the Southeast Iowa District Dental Society. Dr. Michael is a past president of the Southeast Iowa District Dental Society. He has served as chairman of the Membership Benefits Committee of the Iowa Dental Association and worked as an adjunct instructor at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
