She was attending University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for her undergraduate degree, and was coming home on breaks from school while doing Invisalign treatment with Geneva Family Dental. Not too long after graduating and working in the corporate world, Amanda came to Dr. Jentz-Cote and said she was unhappy in her career choice and saw how passionate Dr. Jentz-Cote was about dentistry and that she wanted a career that made her feel that same way. She had never planned on a career in the medical field, but always enjoyed coming to Geneva Family Dental and always asked so many wonderful questions about dentistry. Dr. Jentz-Cote hired her as an assistant in hopes to mentor and inspire her to try dentistry as a career. Spending time immersed in dentistry prompted her to apply to dental school and she chose to attend the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and graduated from there in 2015. She is super excited to be working with her mentor and being back in the Tri-Cities. Patients adore her warm personality, her calming smile, and her passion for dentistry.
