After serving a 2-year mission in Italy after high school, he played basketball for Western Oregon University, while earning his bachelor degree. Perhaps tired of the rainy days of Oregon, he headed south to sunny Arizona for dental school. He loves being able to get to know so many people in the community through dentistry. He is the only LVI (Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies) trained dentist in Glendive. LVI Global is one of the most respected continuing education institutions in the world and the leader in neuromuscular dentistry. Dr McPherson believes strongly that dentistry is an evolving field and the only way to stay current is through hands on clinical courses.
