Dr. Thompson worked at practices in Cedar Rapids and Davenport before purchasing Iowa City Family Dentistry. He also volunteers his time at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry teaching third year dental students on Fridays throughout the year. Continuing education is a very important part of his practice. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), American Dental Association Advisory Council, and Iowa Dental Association.
