Later, he attended Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine to earn his doctorate in Dentistry. In dental school, he was honored with the opportunity to treat the Oglala Sioux Tribe on the Pine Ridge Reservation. Dr. Alex completed a one year residency at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola after which, he moved to Oneonta, NY to join his mother’s (Dr. Kathy Knox) practice, Otego Family Dental.
