She graduated with honors from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in General Science and minor in Biology. In 2009, she obtained her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Ruiz Nieves furthered her education with a General Practice Residency and Hospital Dentistry at Ohio State University.
