I’ve worked in offices that offered one, both, and neither. Taking care of your employees’ physical health and financial health can be a huge factor in creating happy and invested team members.

Free food, coffee and juice bars

While it probably isn’t feasible to offer your employees free meals every day, you could make it more of a regular treat (every other week, once a month) or as a surprise reward after the high production count from the previous day or the excellent handling of a difficult patient?

Free cooking lessons as team building exercises

My previous office scheduled a quarterly team activity and these events were monumental in building rapport between both experienced and new hires.

Some of our favorites were a zipline adventure course, an escape room, and Board & Brush.
